Atmos Energy crews and contractors are overseing a controlled natural gas flaring on Colwell Boulevard about half a mile north of State Highway 114 in Irving, Texas (Mapsco 21B-K). The flare is part of a pipeline relocation project and will last about six hours beginning tonight, December 1, 2009 at 11 p.m.

The fire is presently located at Colwell Blvd in Irving and assistance teams are on site. All roads near the fire are blocked however the raging fire noise can be heard from miles. Here are a few videos  shot on-site a few moments ago.
