Casual dining restaurant chain T.G.I. Friday's is staking its claim in the recessionary restaurant market by rolling out nine new sandwiches or salads on its menu with the starting price of $5. The introductory price of $5 is expected to remain through May 31, 2009, T.G.I. Friday's said in a press statement. The rollout is occurring at 600 T.G.I. restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
