DART Updates- Road Closures and Lane Restrictions
The ramp from eastbound Spur 482 to Northwest Highway will continue to be closed for 5-7 more weeks as crews continue to complete bridge construction. Motorists can access Northwest Highway from Spur 482 by going through the Northwest Highway onramp from Harry Hines Blvd. or access Northwest Hwy. from Loop 12. Alternate routes are advised.
There will continue to be increased construction activity for bridge construction during the next few weeks around the Harry Hines/Spur 482 area requiring a multitude of lane restrictions, closures and detours. Alternate routes are advised. The majority of the closures will occur between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. and many will involve the ramps to and from Harry Hines. Flaggers and signage will be present to direct traffic.
There will continue to be heavy construction activity along Teleport from Riverside Drive through to Las Colinas Blvd. and into the median of Lake Carolyn Pkwy. Traffic will continue to be in its current configuration for the next several weeks. Pedestrians need to remember that it is not safe for them to enter construction zones, so they will need to use alternate walking and jogging routes. Teleport Blvd. is closed permanently at SH 114 to through traffic. Access to business drives along Teleport will remain open. Additional lane restrictions in this area will be needed for crews to complete activities. Please use caution in this area with changing traffic configurations.
Harry Hines/Jamison/Northwest Hwy./I-35E Area There will be a lot of activity in this area associated with bridge construction. Please be aware of many trucks and equipment in the area. Construction activities will include drill shaft operations, column operations, utility relocation (Oncor will begin relocating in this area requiring various lane restrictions), wall construction, grading operations and light pole removals.
Trinity River Area - access road construction continues.
Spur 482/FedEx/Central Freight Area - expect activity involving grading and utility relocations over the next few weeks in the areas around FedEx, Central Freight and Teleport.
Teleport Blvd./Riverside Dr. - utility relocations for next several months.
Lake Carolyn Pkwy. utility relocations for next several weeks.
On I-35E between Loop 12/Northwest Highway and Harry Hines Blvd., lanes have been shifted while work is done in the area. Please use caution while traveling in this area.
