Las Colinas Entertainment Center Set to open in late 2011

The countdown has begun for the opening of Irving’s new Las Colinas Entertainment Center, scheduled to open December 2011. This five-level complex will be a center of activity for residents and visitors in search of an eclectic mix of entertainment, shopping and dining options in the Irving-Las Colinas area.

At the center of the new 600,000-square-foot facility will be the concert hall. Designed specifically for live music performances, the 6,500-capacity hall will offer 5,120 ticketed seats.
The hall has been designed for maximum flexibility and reduced distances to the stage to enhance the concert-going experience. In addition, the hall will offer 23 VIP suites, 23 hospitality lounges and 22 suite-villas.

Additional features of the entertainment venue include:

  • Nine music stages
  • 12,500 square feet of retail shops
  • 1,200 on-site valet/self-parking spaces and 2,700 adjacent parking spaces
  • Pedestrian-friendly outdoor gathering places with water features, flowers and colorful décor
